Update on assigned summer reading
Most books for English/Language Arts and Art summer reading assignments for traditional and AP classes are still available in the library. 'sorry, all copies of Catcher in the Rye have been checked out. Please check with us after September 9th.

Become a Millionaire!
All HISD students and employees of HISD are being challenged to read at least five books during the summer. Find time to go to the library or bookstore. Express interest in reading; have books around your house. Follow our library blog or follow us on Twitter for book recommendations.
Our school library will be open during the summer for students and staff to check out books. Check out the library schedule to see which days the library will be open. When school starts in August, find a special treat if you have completed the 5 book challenge.
