Our students were all first timers except for the team captain. Even though they did not get past the preliminaries they never lost focus or get discouraged. Our "after" party included Chinese buffet and a trip to Barnes & Noble where each student was awarded a free book ($15 limit). They were very excited about the medals and certificates. They asked if I would laminate them. Our preparation could use improvement. We started meeting regularly around Jan/Feb during advocacy for like 20 min. a day. I wish we had more time like those schools that have NTB as a class. I think it is a disadvantage for us. Maybe there should be two levels of competition. One for the "structured" class and one freestyle! :-)
The NTB Competition was a lot of fun!! We even scored more points than i suspected. LOL I would love to do it again! Thanks for inviting me Ms. Hunter!
The name that bnook club is very interesting and you get to meet a lot of people who you didn't think shared the same interest as yourself and it's also a really great experience
I really like and loved Name that Book Club. It was fun and I look forward to joining Name That Book Club Again Next Year. What I liked the most, was that you got a chance to read books that you would have probably never thought of reading. - Tashi

I loved participating in NTB!!!! I wish our school's scheduled allowed more time for our group to meet.

I thought it was intesting. But all in all I liked the competition. it was fun!!!
